I purchased this LG Refrigerator and Love It!Beware of an army of competitors writing comments that state problems, I found many of those same comments copying & pasted on here & on You tube, the same comment pasted on any LG Product. Like the comment below mine. Look at his other comments all the same, copied & pasted. "Real" Owner review: You can not beat the features nor the look of this Fridge. I had to replace my 11 year old faithful, White Whirlpool side by side Refrigerator which finally stopped cooling. I had my mind set on another Whirlpool or upgrade to a Kitchen Aid. I had the models I wanted. I went to 3 different well known retail appliance stores on the same day to shop & compare pricing & features. Once I saw this side by side with other models, the sheet metal quality looked so much better then all other brands dull, dark appearance. The sales person said they just came in, he... Good quality fridge and the little door makes things handy. However, the buttons cannot be locked on the outside, so kids can mess with them. Also, the front isn't magnetic! The sides are, but not the front face of the fridge. I purchased this item from a local appliance store (not from Plesser's). Everywhere I look I see "Finish Available: Stainless Steel". Ours arrived ... stainless steel doors but painted sides and it is butt-ugly. I was cheated by the manufacturer, the store sales person and everyone who displays a photo of this item - craftily avoiding showing the sides. Every retailer I visited had this item wedged between other items so the side could not be seen. If "Available Finishes " had said "white" I would expect 3 sides of the thing to be white and indeed that is how they are manufactured. Stainless Steel apparently has a special meaning for "Available finishes" --- I am very angry that I was duped. |
